				<description>&lt;p&gt;On Tuesday, June 1, the City of Gary voted and passed legislation&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;amending their comprehensive plan to include The Vision for Broadway&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Plan in its entirety.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Vision for Broadway is now "public policy." Equitable development was&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;the guiding principle for this technical assistance effort that was&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;coordinated by the Planning and the Black Community Division of the American Planning&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Association - -&lt;a target="_blank" href=" http://www.garycommoncouncil.org/legislation.asp"&gt; http://www.garycommoncouncil.org/legislation.asp&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</description>
